This Privacy Policy explains how Gangu Gu collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Gangu Gu Android game, its online features, in-app purchases, and advertising-supported features.
Last updated: April 11, 2026- Player Accounts & Profiles: Display name, registered email address, Firebase authentication ID, and Google Sign-in credentials. Processed through Google Firebase servers.
- Gameplay & Progress: Match history, wins/losses, active room codes, custom board skin settings, Babi coin balance, and completed line counts.
- Payment Ledgers: Order reference tokens, cryptocurrency purchase identifiers, purchase date/time, and transaction status logs — stored in our PostgreSQL database. We never collect or store your credit or debit card numbers.
- Ad Interaction Data: Our ad-mediation partner Unity LevelPlay (and networks Unity Ads, InMobi, Bigo Ads) may process standard mobile advertiser IDs (GAID/IDFA) and IP addresses for ad delivery and reward verification.
- To authenticate your profile and sync your progress across devices via Firebase.
- To establish real-time multiplayer connections and route turn-by-turn board state via WebSockets.
- To process Babi coin purchases and Premium upgrade payments via NOWPayments.
- To detect and enforce our zero-tolerance policy against cheating, bot automation, and exploits.
- To deliver rewarded ads and verify coin rewards through Unity LevelPlay.
- To calibrate GanguBot AI difficulty using anonymized win-rate data.
- AWS EC2: Hosts our Node.js game server and PostgreSQL transaction database.
- Google Firebase: Handles user authentication, Firestore player profile sync, and push notifications.
- NOWPayments: Processes cryptocurrency checkout invoices — we do not store your wallet details.
- Unity LevelPlay (IronSource): Mediates banner, interstitial, and rewarded video ads. Never shown during active gameplay.
- Let's Encrypt: Provides SSL/TLS certificates for secure connections to our backend.
Your profile, transactions, and match logs are retained as long as your account is active. You have the right to:
- Account Deletion: Wipe your registered email, Firebase account, and all match history.
- Data Export: Receive a JSON record of your match statistics and purchase history.
- Opt Out of Ads: Purchasing the Premium Upgrade blocks all ad trackers and removes ad delivery entirely.

Your data may be processed on servers located outside your country (including in the United States via AWS). By using Gangu Gu, you consent to this transfer. We apply appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable privacy law.
We will update this page with a new date when the policy changes meaningfully. Continued use of Gangu Gu after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
